MDN Plus Now Available In More Countries |

A little over a month since its launch in the US and Canada, MDN Plus is now also available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Malaysia, Singapore,New Zealand and Puerto Rico. The subscription appears to be the same as for USA - $5 per month or $50 per annum with a supporter plan at $10/$100 respectively for those who want to contribute more. And there's a limited Free tier for those who want a test drive before purchasing a plan. As previously stressed by Mozilla, MDN Web Docs will continue to be available for free. Indeed Mozilla not only intends to continue to develop and maintain its web documentation, keeping it free and accessible for everyone, it also envisages that MDN Web Docs will benefit from MDN Plus. According to the MDN Plus Mozilla plans to reinvest part of the gains from MDN Plus and improve its documentation as well as the overall user experience on the website. Already, since the redesign of MDN Web Docs, which we reported in early March, and the new brand identity for both it and MDN Plus, much work has been done on the MDN Web Docs Readability Project. Pain points were prioritized from feedback from the community and the work to remediate 27 issues has been done by many people across both staff and the community.
