This year’s SharePoint Connect conference is almost here, with just a week left for new registrations.

The conference takes place on November 18th & 19th at the Meervaart Theatre Amsterdam, with an opening keynote by Chris Johnson (Group Product Manager on the Office 365 team at Microsoft, Redmond) on 'The Road to Office 365 and the Future of Cloud Development’.

There’s also a third day of post-conference workshops, when SharePoint MVP Benjamin Niaulin will look at building a search-driven SharePoint site from start to finish. Dan Holme, author of the Microsoft Official Curriculum for SharePoint, is giving a SharePoint 2013 Masterclass on SharePoint installation and configuration from bare metal to farm. The third workshop, by MVP Scott Hillier, covers developing SharePoint 2013 apps.

SharePoint Connect was voted the 3rd Best SharePoint Conference in the world and best in Europe in an independent poll run by Infragistics in 2013. The importance of SharePoint Connect has increased since Microsoft announced back in July that there will no longer be a standalone Microsoft SharePoint conference. Instead SharePoint will be just one track in the combination Ignite conference that also has to cover Exchange, Lync, Project and Office 365.

The sessions at SharePoint Connect are split into six tracks, a mix of Developer, IT Pro, Office 365, Business, End-user and a Sponsor Solution Track.

This year’s line-up of speakers is as impressive as ever, with big names including Scot Hillier, Seb Matthews, Mirjam van Olst, Donald Hessing, Dan Holme, Jasper Oosterveld, Spencer Harbar, Naomi Moneypenny, Chris O'Brien, Mary Leigh Mackie and Sam Hassani.

SharePoint Connect is registered with the CPD Certification board which means you can obtain your own personal Certificate of Professional Development by attending.

The organizers say there are only a few places left, and your 599 Euros gets you two days of great content, delivered by some of the best Office 365 and SharePoint speakers and authors, food and beverages over the two days and admission to the SharePint evening. Places for the post-conference workshops cost 499 Euros. For all bookings you can take advantage of the exclusive IProgrammer code TN322 to get 10% saving.
