The Foundation certification is achieved by passing an exam in person at an IASA recognized certification provider location and the Professional certification is achieved through panel interview and paper submission..

IASA UK will commence certification of IT Architects by holding the first Certified IT Architect Professional (CITA-P) board on 26/27 June followed by the IASA Foundation (IASA-F) course and examination during the week of the 28 June. The aim of IASA UK is to certify around 40-50 IT architects to professional level and 60-80 IT architects to the foundation level by the end of 2011.

The training organisation Skills Matter is responsible for delivering IASA-Foundation training and will act as a host and reseller for IASA CITA-Professional which will be retained and managed by the UK IASA organisation itself.
