Spring Academy Pro is now freely available and Spring Builders is a new meeting point to discuss everything Spring related. Last year in "Learn With The Spring Academy" we've laid out some reasons for you to join it: Surely, there are many courses, blogs and tutorials on Spring develepment, but who knows better than the makers themselves, that is VMWare. Spring Academy, created by the stewards of the Spring framework, aims to introduce students to the ins and outs of the framework and provide the things that matter to further their careers like preparing for the official Spring Certified Professional exam. The instructors of the Academy work for VMware Tanzu Labs and that includes renowned Dev advocate Josh Long. However that was about the free material; for the Pro material you had to subscribe for $299/year. How things have changed in the meantime! Spring Academy Pro now no longer requires a paid subscription and is available to everyone who registers a work, vocational, or educational email address. The topics of the courses av number 5: Spring Framework Essentials Spring Boot Upgrading from Spring Boot 2.7 to 3.1 Upgrading from Spring Boot 2.5 to 2.7 Building Native Applications with Spring Boot and GraalVM With the ink still wet, another boon came in, that of the Spring Builders community, a cozy corner of the internet for anyone interested in the Spring Framework where you can learn, show off what you've done, and connect with awesome folks just like you Anyone can join to discuss about the favorite framework as well as glance at tips and tutorials. It also hosts podcasts and a calendar of Spring related events. If you are familiar with the the DEV platform then you'll be right at home since it's build on the same forum software. Spring devs rejoice!
