Microsoft has released an update to the Kinect Developer Toolkit. It includes a sample for DirectX 11 interoperability with WPF and fixes a known issue with Kinect Studio playback. There is one new feature in the V1.5.2 Toolkit Release:
There is also a worthwhile bug fix:
Although one known issue has been resolved the release notes for V1.5.2 still has several issues listed for the previous version, including a prohibition on using the SkeletonFrame.TrackingMode property as it may change in future releases. A few new additions have appeared on the list of known issues so we can expect more bug-fixing updates to follow. There is also a note that currently that you cannot build apps for .NET 4.5. You can't help but wonder how much longer .NET will be supported. Microsoft doesn't seem very committed to all things .NET at the moment and native C++ seems to be in favor.
