Vision Mobile has launched its Developer Economics Q3 2017 survey and you'll find a space journey theme and a smattering of programmer jokes as you complete it. The incentive is prizes to win and personalized charts and graphs to show how you compare to  other developers in your country or region.

You'll need around 20 minutes to complete the survey but you can save your progress if you can't do it in a single session. 

The survey covers eight distinct areas of development and the more optional sections you include the better you chance of winning a prize, and there are more prizes on offer if you join the Developer Economics Panel.

There's a Spaceship theme to this edition (the 13th) of the survey and once you've completed it the immediate feedback is what type of developer you are - Space Cadet, Robot Trooper, Bounty Hunter being just three of the options.

The jokes don't have a space theme, but are programmer related.
