Now in its 16th year, DevWeek 2013, the independent conference for software developers, DBAs and IT architects, takes place March 4-8 in London.

This year's event in the Barbican Conference Centre in Central London features over 100 in-depth technical sessions and workshops on a wide range of key topics for .NET and SQL developers.

DevWeek has a reputation for being at the cutting edge and topics that are prominent in this years' program include Windows 8 modern UI applications and asynchronous programming. The .NET landscape is now very different from a couple of years ago. Who would have expected then that there would be sessions devoted to HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery - but these are now important things to know about and they are well represented  in the schedule.

In this year's opening Technical Keynote, "There's a storm coming"  independent industry expert and .NET developer Dave Wheeler invites you to explore his vision of  the future, as he guides you through a world of app stores, fledgling standards and new paradigms, tools and technologies

After this session, the conference proceeds with nine tracks, two of them devoted to SQL-related topics, which will present delegates with a wide range of choice. To find out more download the DevWeek 2013 brochure:

DevWeek starts and ends with two sets of full-day workshops (Monday, March 4 and Friday, March 8). This year's pre-conference topics include Windows 8,  SharePoint 2012, jQuery, ASP.NET MVC applications, LINQ and the Entity Framework, SQL Server stored procedures, and  asynchronous code with C# 5.0. Post-conference workshops include ones on debugging, databinding, unit testing and design patterns.

Again full details are in the brochure. You can book the workshops separately from the main conference or book a universal pass for all five days.

Register before February 15th to save up to £100.
