Edge Delta is an observability automation platform that developers can use to get a picture of application and service behavior. A free version of its software that can be used to monitor applications running in Kubernetes has been released. The problem with monitoring applications running in Kubernetes environments is that it's hard to keep up with the volume of data being created, the dynamic nature of resources, and the multiple layers of components. Edge Delta is designed to provide a way around this. Edge Delta is deployed as a software agent within your compute and Kubernetes environments. The agent handles the analysis and any data optimization based on the analysis. The outputs of the analysis are routed to the developer's streaming destinations such as monitoring platforms or data storage. If anomalies occur, or there are new deployments, container version changes, or reported incidents, Edge Delta automatically streams complete raw datasets. The platform offers autodiscovery and mapping of Kubernetes environments, as well as log pattern analytics, so its easy to detect changes in behavior. Edge Delta Free Edition includes a subset of the features of the subscription version. It can be used to automate tasks associated with monitoring and log management. It also provides automatic analytics of log data through out-of-the-box dashboards with the analysis optimized for Kubernetes environments, making it easy to understand what is happening at each layer of a cluster. It also offers automated anomaly alerts. Edge Delta Free Edition is available now. More InformationRelated ArticlesWhat's the Best Way to Effectively Monitor a Kubernetes Cluster?
