Santa has set off in his sleigh delivering presents and there are two ways to track his progress. Google has a Santa Tracker while Microsoft has again teamed up with NORAD.

In case you don't know, NORAD is the North American Aerospace Defense Command and it usually spends its time looking for dangerous incursions into air space and has the capability to set off off a nuclear retaliation if an incoming ICMB is identified. And, as in previous years these are the guys tracking Santa.

In this case the tracking appear to be harmless and you can even gain a geography lesson by clicking on the places on Bing Maps that Santa is about to visit courtesy of Wikipedia.

Google's tracker lets you discover the weather conditions in each of the places Santa visits, shows you photos of the destination and allows you to explore it with street view. It too accesses Wikipedia information.
