Part Two of the Kar-Rek Saga
Wednesday, 21 July 2010

How far would you go to get to Java One. Kar-Rek for one would vaporise his boss to get there.

Part II of the saga of Java, aliens and cringe.

Java One looks as if it will be fun this year with the added thrill of being vaporised by an alien who just doesn't understand... much like the other delegates.

Part Two of the adventures of Kar-Rek from the planet Lu-Zor - the names are perhaps the best jokes in the video - is ready for you to watch. And I should warn you that there is a subtitle that will have you rolling in the isle:

"Will enter JavaOne and meet the great Oracle."

- get it?  Oracle. The joke wouldn't have worked if Java still belonged to Sun.

Well it's that sort of humour so don't expect any penetrating analysis or satire. This is primarily designed to get you to go to the conference.

If Part One was a heavy-handed advertising tool, this one just put on some weight...

Have a look at the video and see if you agree.

Can we wait for Part Three?

See Part One: New Hire.
