NVIDIA has announced the general availability of NVIDIA AI Enterprise 2.1. The improvements to the AI and data analytics software include new support for containers, and for public clouds. AI Enterprise suite is designed for deploying and scaling AI applications across bare metal, virtual, container, and cloud environments. It includes NVIDIA Rapids, NVIDIA TAO Toolkit, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and the NVIDIA Inference Server. The new release includes includes the latest NVIDIA RAPIDS, a suite of open-source software libraries and APIs for executing data science pipelines entirely on GPUs. The RAPIDS 22.04 release provides more support for data workflows through the addition of new models, techniques, and data processing capabilities across all the NVIDIA data science libraries. The suite also has the latest release of the NVIDIA TAO toolkit for low code AI model development. TAO Toolkit is a framework that enables developers to create custom, production-ready models to power speech and vision AI applications by fine-tuning NVIDIA pre-trained models — without AI expertise or large training datasets. The new features include REST APIs integration, pre-trained weights import, TensorBoard integration, and new pre-trained models. AI Enterprise 2.1 includes added support for Red Hat OpenShift running in the public cloud and the new Microsoft Azure NVads A10 v5 series. These are the first NVIDIA virtual GPU instances offered from the public cloud, which enables affordable GPU sharing. The new release also includes Azure NVads A10 v5 support. This uses the NVIDIA A10 Tensor Core GPUs which NVIDIA says offers: "unprecedented GPU scalability and affordability with fractional GPU sharing for flexible GPU sizes ranging from one-sixth of an A10 GPU to two full A10 GPUs." NVIDIA has set up a set of test labs running on NVIDIA AI Enterprise. The NVIDIA LaunchPad labs can be used to test and prototype the entire AI workflow on the same complete stack available for deployment. The new release includes multi-node training for image classification on VMware vSphere with Tanzu; a Fraud Detection XGBoost Model using NVIDIA Triton; and a Custom Object Detection Model with NVIDIA TAO Toolkit deployed with NVIDIA DeepStream. NVIDIA AI Enterprise is available now.
