Developer Productivity Engineering University, DPE, for short, aims to boost developer productivity by hosting courses that teach how to get the most out of Gradle and Maven build tools, as well as Develocity, Gradle's productivity platform for large-scale development teams.

While you'll find courses dedicated to the Gradle and Maven build tools, most are intermingled with Develocity; therefore if you are a Develocity user you will certainly get the most out of it.

So the Gradle related courses are:

Introduction to Gradle for Developers
Learn the core concepts, no prior experience required.

Incremental Builds and Build Caching with Gradle
Find out how to use the Gradle Build Cache to significantly reduce build times

Gradle Build Cache Deep Dive
A deeper understanding of how to leverage build caching with Gradle.

How to Use Build Scan
how to use Develocity Build Scan to better understand your builds and troubleshoot build problems.

Incremental Builds and Build Caching with Gradle and Develocity
How to use the Gradle Build Cache for Develocity to significantly reduce build times.

Maintaining Optimal Gradle Build Cache Performance
How to keep build times low by automating the identification of build cache performance issues

The Maven ones:

Maven Build Cache Deep Dive
learn how to speed up your Apache Maven projects using a build cache

Maintaining Optimal Maven Build Cache Performance
learn how to keep your Apache Maven project's build cache optimized

And a few other solely about Develocity. At the moment there's 10 courses with more coming up.

All courses are self paced, hands on with exercises. You can pick any course to start learning or follow a Learning Path for a more directed educational experience. You also earn certificates upon course completion to showcase your skills.

In any case it's best to start off with the 40minutes "Introduction to DPE University" to get a hang of how the platform is structured.

As an extra incentive to join, all courses are presented by the Gradle training team, including Java Champions Trisha Gee, Brian Demers, and Baruch Sadogursky!

To conclude, if you are a Java or Kotlin developer, going through DPE will enable you to speed up and debug your builds to increase efficiency multifold. There's something for everyone,  whether you are a Develocity user or not.
