Google has announced that it has opened submissions for the Indie Games Accelerator 2024, a 10-week accelerator program for high potential indie game studios, designed to help programmers build a successful games company. The program gives access to the best of Google’s programs, products, people and technology. Google says: "You'll have direct access to Googlers, top industry experts, and a global community of passionate game developers who are looking to take their business to the next level." The program is intended for indie developers who are early in their journey - either close to launching a new game or have recently launched a title. Selected game studios will be invited to take part in the 10-week accelerator program starting in March 2024. The program is open to small game developers from across 70+ eligible countries. It includes a series of online masterclasses, talks and gaming workshops. Participants will ll also get the chance to meet and connect with other developers from around the world. To enter, participants need to have a game under development or that has been released. If the Game has not yet been released on Google Play, the Developer should have a playable demo APK (Android Package Kit) submitted to Google Play as private beta through the Google Play Console. Once submissions are complete, the games will be evaluated by a panel of judges and Google evaluators. Marks will be awarded according to innovation (30%), fun (30%), design (20%) More InformationGoogle Indie Games Accelerator 2024 Related ArticlesGoogle Releases Android Play Developer Reporting API Google Play Removed 700,000 Bad Apps Last Year App Store Or Google Play?
