There's just three weeks left to register for early bird discounts for a conference for decision makes, developers and IT Pros who are considering the transition to the Microsoft cloud. Update: European Office 365 Connect is being held at the Philharmonie Theatre, Haarlem, The Netherlands, on April 1st-2nd 2014. It features content for current users of Office 365 and those considering a move to Office 365. Microsoft’s cloud-based system combines online versions of Office, SharePoint and Exchange alongside other Microsoft products with strong collaboration features. The conference is designed to help you plan upgrades and avoid mistakes while making the transition to Office 365. In addition to the daily sessions, the conference has an expo area, two keynotes and evening social activities. In addition to online SharePoint, Exchange and Office, the conference has sessions on Lync Online, Yammer, and Microsoft Project Online. The sessions are based on the real-life experience of the lecturers, and cover key topics for success with Office 365, including migration from on-premises to the cloud; working in hybrid environments, building and using apps; search optimisation; security & identity management; incorporating Windows Azure; and using PowerShell. The keynote on the opening day is being given by Michiel Rozema on The Value of Power BI. and will look at how Office 365 can make use of data inside and outside an organization, bringing it to the surface so business users can create insights and share results. The second keynote from Seb Matthews looks at how Office 365 can be used to taking your business to the cloud with practical tips and advice. The sessions in the conference cover a wide range of topics including how to develop SharePoint Online applications, developing, building and deploying apps for Office 2013, Lync Server 2013, and remote control of Office 365 with Windows Azure.
