Developer Salaries Set to Rise

Current economic conditions mean that many workers are facing a pay freeze or even pay cuts. Mobile Developers, Data Warehouse Analysts and User Experience (UX) Designers are all jobs likely see salary increases in 2012.

These finding come from a recent report from professional staffing services firm Robert Half Technology and reflect the economic reality that when demand outstrips supply, which is does in the case of these specialized developer roles, you can expect increased remuneration.

Top of the list, in terms of percentage increase comes Mobile Developer but in terms of starting salary Data security analyst seems to be a good specialization.

The research is presented under the title Seven Promising Jobs You Might Not Know About but they are all ones you are likely to be familiar with. What is interesting is the forecast starting salary range and the increase this represents on this year's figures.
