Microsoft has announced three new benefits for premium subscribers to Visual Studio. The benefits are available to premium and enterprise subscribers, but aren't included for subscribers to the community edition. Microsoft says the value of the three offers exceeds $1,500, and that making use of the offers will enhance developer skills and make sure subscribers know how to make use of the latest advancements in Visual Studio, .NET, and Azure. The first benefit is reduced cost access to Dometrain Pro premium courses. This includes unlimited access to 380 hours of HD content covering topics from foundational programming to advanced development techniques. Subscribers can get a 50% discount on a subscription to Dometrain Pro for Visual Studio, which includes 36 courses for a full year. The second benefit involves DevPass Business Edition, which provides targeted, real-world training. The offer covers training by Tim Corey, includes courses that are directly applicable to daily development work and upcoming challenges in modern software practices. As with the Dometrain Pro, the new offer is a 50% discount on DevPass Business for 28 courses and over 320 hours of HD training for a full year. The final benefit is for Visual Studio LIVE! Events, either in-person or virtually. These professional development gatherings aim to show off cutting-edge technologies and practical applications, with a particular emphasis on AI and cloud advancements. The new benefit provides exclusive discounts on registrations, which Microsoft says allows subscribers to gain invaluable insights from industry experts at a fraction of the usual cost. Microsoft says that in addition to the new benefits, all Visual Studio subscribers should make sure they're making full use of their Visual Studio Subscription. The advice is that if it's been a while, log in at my.visualstudio.com to review and activate your benefits, equipping you with all necessary tools and training to excel in the fast-paced tech environment.
