If Web Browsers were Super Heros

We can't help but assign personalities to the tools we have to use every day. Love them or hate them browsers take on lives of their own. Here's a comic representation that you may, or may not agree with.

Creating apps that work in different browsers is no easy job give the different standards that each one has decided to support or not support - yes we are talking about you IE9/10. But over time you sort of build up an image of the "personality" of each one and perhaps this is a reason that programmers as users stick to one or another. It might not be the best or even good now but you know it will be in the not to distant future. You know what it stands for and where it is going.

Now the guys at C-Section Comics have created a cartoon that you can agree with, well mostly agree with. Let's imagine what each browser would be like as a super hero.

For my money the take on Firefox and Chrome is spot on and as to Explorer - well to be honest it just isn't ugly enough.

If only they would work together in some way or share just a little of the super hero code... but no they just compete and further the commercial interests of their masters.
