Java is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and designs submitted for the t-shirt challenge have to incorporate the evolution of Java over the last twenty years. Artwork submitted can be a pdf or an AI file and must be no longer than 12 inches wide by 14 inches high.

The winning design will be one of the available options at the Cross Your Tees experience, taking place all week long at JavaOne 2015. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose from four different designs to create their custom shirt, and one of those designs will be that of the winner of this challenge.

The deadline is October 7th with entries to be submitted by email. See the JavaOne T-Shirt Design Challenge for design specifications and details of how to submit and the Official Rules for eligibility.

  • Java and the Internet of Things: The IoT is always growing. More and more devices are controlled by the day! Come learn to set up your first system or improve your latest.
  • Java and Server-Side Development: Stay on top of the latest developments in Java EE and develop secure and scalable services on this track.
  • Java Clients and User Interfaces: User Interfaces are more important now than ever. Make sure your application looks as good as it works!
  • Java Development Tools and Agile Techniques: Improve your development productivity! New methods and techniques can help you write great code faster and easier.
